At Stättared, you can rent out canoes for paddling around in Stora Hornsjön lake. The lake lies around 1.3 kilometers from the farm. There is also a windbreak by the small bathing area and canoe storage.

We have 12 Linder Inkas 525 canoes. They are approved for up to three people. Load capacity: 400 kg.

Fishing in Stora Hornsjön lake

Stora Hornsjön lake is part of the Hornsjö Lakes fishing conservation area, and is a clearwater lake with at least 14 different species of fish. The deepest point in the lake is 43 meters, and there are several fine “reefs” for large perch. Perches weighing over two kilograms have been caught here! Pike also bite furiously here.
