Tickets
All tickets and travel cards can be purchased at any sales outlet for Västtrafik, the regional public transportation operator.
Tourist and visitor's card
With a tourist and visitor’s card you can travel as much as you like on buses, commuter trains, boats, and trams.
The 1-day ticket is valid for 24 hours and can be bought at any Västtrafik sales outlet.
The 3-day ticket is valid for 72 hours and can be bought at ant Västtrafik sales outlet.

Single ticket
A single ticket is available for 41 SEK and can be purchased either on board or at any Västtrafik sales outlet. If you wish to buy your ticket with cash or card on board, the following applies.
On commuter trains: Purchase your ticket from the staff on board.
On city buses: Tickets cannot be purchased on board; they must be purchased in advance.

Car and parking
There is plenty of parking available downtown. You can park free of charge for up to 2 hours with a parking disc at spots labelled with the word P-skiva. If you park your car in street parking or any other paid parking spot, you can always pay using 1, 5, and 10 SEK coins. Some parking meters also accept debit or credit cards.
