Kungsbacka has an 80 km long coast line. All fishing with hand held rods are free for the public, provided that you fish from land, islands and islets.

Exceptions

fishing is not permitted during certain periods during the year to protect the local wildlife. These areas usually constiture nature reserves and have proper signs indicating the rules.

Fishing for salmon and trout is forbidden between 1/10-31/3. Good fishing grounds for trout fishing are Hållsundsudde, Vallda Sandö and Hanhals holme.
